STOP asking God to heal me!

“What? Are you giving up?  Is it that bad?”

No, but the Lord wants me to let you know that He has heard your many petitions, He’s on it and will take it from here.

“So, we don’t need to pray for you, then?”

Actually, I need you to pray even more fervently, “wrestle in prayer” if you have to, that God’s FULL PURPOSE for me will be accomplished!!  -that NOTHING and NO ONE (including me) would get in His way!

“But how are you doing, really?”

As Paul says in 2 Cor. 4, “the outward man is wasting away but the inward man is renewed day-by-day.”  My body continues to grow weaker but I’ve never felt more strongly the Presence and burden of the Lord.

“And what about your healing?

God’s Spirit has borne witness in me that complete healing is GUARANTEED!  How, when, and where are questions to which He simply replies, “My supernatural infusion of grace is yours and that is all you need today.” (2 Cor 12:8-10)

Join me in thanking the One who does all things well!

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed . . . ”  2 Corinthians 9:8

Psalm 103

Ps 103Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And give it all you’ve got
Bless the Lord, O my soul
Let His blessings fill your thoughts.

All iniquities forgives
Heals your body, makes you live
Lifts you up when you are down
With His love your head doth crown
Fills with good that satisfies
Strength of eagle’s wings, you fly.

Vindicates all those oppressed
Gives His children what is best
Always merciful and kind
Slow to wrath with grace combined
Does not chide or hold a grudge
Not revengeful, won’t misjudge.

Mercy high as heav’ns above
All who fear Him know His love
Far as east is from the west
All our sins from us divests
Like a gentle, caring dad
Shows compassion, is not mad.

We are dust, He knows our frame
For our weakness does not blame
Like a flower of the fields
To the wind our glory yields
But His steadfast love is sure
And forever will endure.

All who honor Him below
Steadfast love from Him will know
Children’s children will be blest
And inherit righteousness
Richest blessings He will heap
On all who His cov’nant keep.

Adonai rules from His throne
As the king He shall be known
Mighty angels all obey
Bless the Lord without delay
All His hosts who do His will
Bless Him, all His words fulfill.

Bless the Lord, O my soul
All creation join in, too
Bless the Lord, O my soul
Such great things He’s done for you.

Psalm 30

I lift my voice to bless You, Lord
For You have lifted me
You’ve rescued me from all my foes
From danger set me free.

O Lord my God, I cried to You
My life You have revived
You brought my soul up from the grave
Healed me, kept me alive.

Sing praises to the Lord, you saints
Give thanks unto His name
His anger will be very brief
His favor will remain.

Weeping may last the whole night long
He feels your deepest sorrow
Pour out your hearts to Him in faith
True joy comes on the morrow.

When once I boasted of success
And claimed it was Your grace
I thought myself to be so strong
Until You hid Your face.

Then I cried out to You, O Lord
“I think I’m going to die!
Who profits if I turn to dust?
In mercy, hear my cry.”

My mourning You’ve turned into dance
My sackcloth into song
Eternal thanks and praises now
To You alone belong.
